Dare to Speak is a mantra that speaks to the core of PEN America's mission centered on the use of free speech wisely, but also boldly, to drive forward discourse, communicate across differences and voice even controversial ideas and viewpoints. The message, used by PEN America CEO Suzanne Nossel as the title of her 2020 book Dare to Speak: Defending Free Speech for All, is an uplifting call to speak truth, find your voice and connect with others through the power of saying what is on your mind and hearing out others.

All Lingua Franca pieces are hand embroidered once your order is placed. Please allow 2-to-3 weeks for embroidery, plus shipping time (1-5 days).

All items are hand-made to order by our NYC-based embroiderers, resulting in unique variations in the look, size, and placement of the embroidery. Lingua Franca embroiderers use their best discretion when stitching to ensure each product meets our high standards and unique, well-known style.
