American Studies Student

A Junior at Barnard College, where she is President of her class, Gabi Garcia's choice of major (with a concentration in Transnational Studies and minors in Spanish and Political Science) is more than just a field of study. “Coming from a family of asylum seekers to this country, my academic interest in the subject has deep personal meaning for me.” Gabi recently completed an internship in the homicide division of the State Attorney’s Office in Miami-Dade County. She is currently interning in the Bureau of Internet and Technology at the New York Attorney General’s Office, where she works on data breach cases.
