As the Global Beauty Director at ESSENCE, Julee oversees the brand’s vision for beauty from the website to the magazine’s monthly editorials (you may have spotted her on CNN, The Today Show or The CBS Early Show. Julee is also the host of “The Color Files” a podcast that "explores the stories of those behind the business of Black beauty," bringing the voices of the trendsetters, trailblazers, legends and luminaries of the industry to the fore. Aside from using her clout in the beauty industry to advocate for self-love and empowerment, Julee sits on the advisory board of Harlem's Fashion Row, a movement founded to increase diversity in fashion.
