The next chapter of our collaboration with Kris & Dave continues. What began as a shared commitment to supporting Detroit has already made a meaningful impact, raising over $72,000 for Kris and Dave's local organizations (read more below).
In keeping with Lingua Franca’s commitment to slow fashion (see Kris explore our embroidery studio here), each piece is thoughtfully produced; but we also recognize the importance of accessibility. For the first time, we’re introducing a limited run of collaboration sweatshirts and tees at a lower price point, as well as offering our new lighter weight Mara sweaters, perfect for hot weather and all making it easier to take part in the mission.
Proceeds will once again support two vital Detroit-based nonprofits:
Make Food Not Waste, which transforms surplus food into nourishment while fighting climate change and food insecurity, and SWIRC, which provides essential legal services to immigrant and refugee communities.
