MEET:
Serena, Sophie, Coco, Charlie and Tess
Serena Levy is a New York City based creative and the mother of four daughters, Coco (15), Tess (24), Sophie (26), and Charlie (19), who couldn’t make the shoot).
Her husband Shawn Levy may be known for bringing magical worlds to life on screen, think Stranger Things, Deadpool, and the upcoming Star Wars film, but Serena’s magic is happening a little closer to home. The world she’s created with her daughters feels truly special, they’re beautiful, confident, and incredibly smart, each completely holding their own. Together, they’re a force, with a kind of energy and presence that lingers
It’s easy to see where it comes from. Serena has this warm, effortless presence and a kind of glow that makes everything feel calm and grounded. We’re constantly inspired by her style and her laid-back approach to motherhood. Clearly, something she’s doing is working!

Rachelle: What's something in your mom's closet that you are constantly stealing from her?
Sophie: Oh, my mom's closet is literally the mecca. Um, I love when she goes out of town for, like, a day or two so that I can go steal entire looks, and then put it back- she's just got the best collection of bags and shoes, and we actually are the two daughters that are blessed by having the same shoe size as her.
Coco: Mm-hmm.
Sophie: So any pair of shoes, the dream.
Rachelle: What's, what's something you love about your mom?
Coco: Well, there's nothing I don't love about her. She's so supportive of all of us, and I know she's always there to back us up and defend us.
Sophie: Yeah. If you have this woman in your corner, like, you're good. You're set.
Rachelle: What does your perfect day in NYC look like?
Serena: Hmm. Well, yesterday was actually my birthday.
Rachelle: Oh my God, I love that.
Serena: And my birthday is a “no one can say no day.” So yesterday was actually my perfect day. We started the day 11:30 at Café Sabarsky. And then we went upstairs to the new gallery. There's a gorgeous room of Klimts. Then we walked down Fifth Avenue along Central Park to the Frick Museum and saw a bunch of beautiful portraits. And then we went to Broadway and saw Jellicle Ball, and then Polo Bar for dinner. And then came home and collapsed.
Rachelle: Yeah, that's perfect.
