POSITION: Seasonal Warehouse Associate, Part-Time

REPORTS TO: Logistics and Warehouse Manager

LOCATION: NYC, Garment District (Manhattan)

START DATE: Immediate

END DATE: Jan. 15th, 2024 with possibility of permanent employment at that time

COMPENSATION: 18/hr

Lingua Franca is seeking additional support to help ensure the accuracy and quality of our operations during our busiest time of the year.

​​Position Overview:

The Seasonal Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately picking customer orders to meet company standards.

A successful warehouse associate is hard-working, organized, and detail-oriented. You should be able to keep good records and keep track of incoming and outgoing stock to ensure inventory levels remain steady. The role requires attention to detail to ensure orders are picked correctly and efficiently using our warehouse management system. The ability to build a familiarity with the inventory and the layout of the warehouse, the ability to communicate with others professionally, and some heavy lifting is required.

Responsibilities:

Pick assigned orders from stock, marking them as picked in WMS
Pull threads to accompany custom embroidery orders
Return/restock inventory to its proper warehouse location
Help organize and condense physical inventory to keep the warehouse running effectively
Carry out inventory counts to maintain accurate on-hand numbers
Assist in receiving processes, including counting and stocking inventory
Communicate with production and customer service teams, recording and accurately reporting any inventory and/or fulfillment issues in real-time
This is a fully onsite role. All on-site team members must be fully vaccinated before their start date. Regular COVID-19 tests are highly encouraged.
