Lingua Franca + Stateside for the Whitney Museum Shop
Inspired by AN INCOMPLETE HISTORY OF PROTEST EXHIBITION at the Whitney Museum (a MUST see!), we partnered with our friends at Stateside to produce a custom line of black sweatshirts, made in L.A. and hand stitched at the LF offices just two blocks from the Whitney! It's our first time producing something other than cashmere and with 100% of proceeds going to support the Whitney Museum and it’s programs, we hope you love them (and the lower price point of $125) as much as we do! Pick one up at the museum's shop or online store.
p.s. The "solidarity" and "give a damn" can be found on the resistance posters featured in the exhibit - it was so hard choosing just two!

Creating Lingua Franca was a passionate and personal response to our current political climate, and through this project we are proud to have helped hundreds of women find their voice and to collectively support organizations doing important resistance work. The LF x Whitney Shop collaboration represents the first time Lingua Franca has partnered with a cultural institution and we couldn’t be more proud to partner with a museum that supports the voices of artists and to have produced our first sweatshirt with Stateside, bringing our style of compelling sustainable resistance clothing to a wider market. xo Rachelle#LFresistance
