On Tuesday, I hosted a dinner with my friend Dee Poku and her band of fearless women leaders (including some from the Women's March movement). I was reminded of all of the ways I've grown since last year's election, of all the ways we've all grown. I was saying here how “the gift is in the wound” - a line I first read in Jeanette Winterson’s memoir. Trump is our wound - but there are gifts to be found. For me, it’s them (and so many more amazing resister women!). Thank you all for standing up against complicity. Below, some more ways to do good...
Lingua Franca x FEED
We have "all the feels" for this sweater which Lauren and her team at FEED helped design. Buy it now and they will send 150 school meals to children! It's literally the perfect gift!
Order this knit and all proceeds from its sale go to Her Justice, an organization that stands with women living in poverty in NYC - something we think everyone should be enthusiastic about!
Every Mother Counts, founded by Christy Turlington, is making pregnancy and childbirth safe for women everywhere. Look for this sweater (also in grey) on their gift guide, and 100% will go to the organization.
They're going fast so get them while they last! Inspired by "An Incomplete History of Protest" exhibition, choose from "Solidarity" or "give a damn" on a super soft Stateside sweatshirt. 100% of the proceeds go to the Whitney Museum and its programs.
Don't forget, you can always order a custom resistance sweater at any time and we'll send $100 to a charity of your choice. We've given $50k away so far!!! Get inspired here, and check out Jill Kargman on the left rocking her "i miss barack!"
