The sweater that started it all. Our signature women’s crewneck is crafted from 100% cashmere and hand-embroidered to order in our New York City studio. With a classic neckline and a true-to-size fit, it’s a forever favorite made personal, one stitch at a time.

10% of proceeds from the sale of each item will be donated to the Committee to Protect Journalists, supporting its work to defend press freedom and protect journalists around the world.*

Embroidery

Lingua Franca embroiderers use their best discretion when stitching to ensure each piece meets our high standards and well-known style. This may also result in unique variations in the look, size, and placement of embroidery.

Care

Hand wash cold with mild detergent or dry clean. Lay flat to dry. Do not bleach.

Shipping

This Lingua Franca piece is hand embroidered to order. Please allow about 2-3 weeks for embroidery, plus shipping time (1-5 days).

Returns

Returns and/or exchanges are accepted within 14 days of receipt of items. Returned items must be unworn/unused with tags and in their original packaging. Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment or as store credit.
