"I collect women’s stories and love to share them with other women for inspiration." Name: Christine Chang Hanway
Age: 56
Birthplace: Hartford, CT U.S.A
IG or Twitter Handle: @fabulousfabsters

What woman in your life has been the greatest source of inspiration to you? Textile artisan & designer - Anni Albers. She studied weaving in the Bauhaus by default because the other disciplines weren’t open to her as a woman.  She took the opportunity, made it her own and ran with it. First designer to have a 1 person exhibition at MOMA in 1949.  She is about to have a major retrospective at the Tate Modern this Autumn in London. Can’t wait!

What is your superpower? Connecting people and their stories. I collect women’s stories and love to share them with other women for inspiration.

How do you hope to inspire the next generation of women? Female energy fascinates me - the way it evokes, adapts, and transforms as life requires.  The danger for us is that it’s easy to lose our voices… I hope to inspire the next generation of women by encouraging them to find ways of staying true to their intuition and voice through Fabulousfabsters.com and my heart coaching.

If you could spend an afternoon with any woman past or present - who would it be and what would you ask them? I would spend the afternoon with Hera - the goddess of women, motherhood, children, and families.  I would ask her if she felt misrepresented in the myths where she is often portrayed as jealous, angry, and petty.  From childhood, I have never understood her behavior and have since concluded that is is a male construct!
