James Crocker is a teen activist, organizer and creator from East Granby, Connecticut. he’s all about getting young people engaged in politics, registered to vote and leaning left. he believes in doing instead of dooming, which is why he chose the slogan “hope despite everything.” right now, he’s helping organize a cross-country college campus bus tour for 2027 to register new voters and spread that same hope.

I chose this phrase: "Hope Despite Everything," because it applies to all aspects of life, not just the political ones! Right now, it’s very hard for people to feel hope because of well, everything that’s going on, so I think it’s so important that we rebel against this hopelessness that the administration and bad actors want us to feel. Hope is how we stay afloat and keep fighting!
