"I chose touch grass as the phrase because it fits who I am and also the moment we are living in. People spend too much time arguing on a screen instead of connecting with others in the real world. I see people base their opinions off of things they see online rather than grounding it in conversations they have had with others. I see people spew hatred about groups without actually talking to those groups personally. If more people got off their phones, touched grass, and got a sense of reality, we would see less hate and less division in our world.'
