"I am ready for the matriarchy - which, despite what people believe is not the inversion of the patriarchy with women on top, but the centering of children within a collective whole. If the kids have good lives - clean water, good education, food, housing, opportunity, safety - then we all thrive. I'm currently writing my next book all about this called We'll Take It From Here: Rise of the Matriarchy. It's all part and parcel of what I truly believe, which is that the world can and should be a better place and that government can be a force for good if it's looking out for the people rather than itself."
