Sizing FAQs
What size am I?
Our Lingua Franca products fit true-to-size and we clearly note how a garment fits on each product page and the Sizing Page. We also recommend using a tape measure to find your perfect fit.
How to measure yourself?
Compare your body measurements to our LF standard size chart.
Use the chart to determine your size. If you’re in between sizes, we suggest sizing up for more relaxed fit, or sizing down for more shaped/tighter fit.

What are garment measurements?
These are measurements as we provided on the size chart, taken when the garment is laying flat. The measurements may vary depending on the fit/design of each style, but will give you more accurate information on the fit.
Below is how we take our measurements. You can use the below method to measure your own favorite garment to compare to our sizing.
How are the materials affected to your fit?
We offer a variety of materials, but most of our garments are 100% cashmere. This material is super stretchy. It can be expanded beyond the garment measurements. For instance, our 3X sweater bust garment measurement is 49”. However, it can fit up to 54” bust because of the cashmere stretchiness. 100% cotton French terry and pique knit have less stretchiness. If your body measurements are the same as garment measurements or smaller, they will fit better on you.
