The Italians know what living well means and OMG have I missed toasting with them in the flesh! I was lucky enough to travel to Italy over Memorial Day weekend, and well, it didn't suck! A quick trip sans kids for the opening of our friend Marie-Louise's Il Pellicano Hotel (yes, the one that Slim Aarons devoted a whole book to) was the most glamorous way to welcome what feels like post-Covid life. Did I mention it was also my ten year wedding anniversary? I couldn't resist stitching an Italian Collection, because I suspect some of you may also be inspired by this incredible country. I hope you enjoy my "what to wear" guide below - inspired by my trip!

...ON THE FLIGHT OVER
It felt so glamorous to fly overnight to Europe! I opted for comfort, but paired my look with our Yes Blazer on top so I felt sophisticated upon arrival. Good thing too! I got interviewed on all the national news shows in Italy upon arrival lol. (We were one of the first tourist flights allowed into the country and the Italians were so happy to welcome us!).
...LOUNGING IN THE SUN
Il Pellicano's beachside game is as strong as they come. Here's what I wore while blissfully relaxing in the Mediterranean sun.
...COCKTAIL HOUR
My favorite time of day! Cocktails with the Italians became a whole night affair with music, dancing and of course the freshest food and drinks on the Mediterranean.
...ON THE BOAT
If you're lucky enough to get picked up on the famous dock at Il Pellicano for a day spent on the waters of the Med, you should come prepared and look the part!
