Our Birdwell Jackets are back!

Last spring, we partnered up with our friends at Birdwell to create a Limited Edition Women's Competition Jacket to much enthusiasm. Believe it or not, there is a through line between cashmere sweaters and Birdwell Britches. Both items were staples for renegade surfers back in the early days of the sport. Cashmere sweaters were often worn out in the water before the wet suits came along, they kept surfers warm and dried quickly. Birdwell britches, a company that was started by a woman, made handmade surf shorts and jackets in Santa Ana, California that have been coveted by surfers since the 60s.  Birdwell believes in quality and sustainability over mass production. They take pride in their products and the message they put out into the world - they value the craft and the people that create their products. In many ways, this East/West coast pairing felt inevitable. These slim-cut windbreakers hand stitched with "booyah" or "outlaw" on the back are $225 and in limited quantities. Be an outlaw and break the rules by bringing OG surf style to the city!
